Abstract :
This paper is to present a design of a wideband microstrip array based on air substrate for wireless applications. Especially, it can be installed as a high gain directional antenna at the base station. Additionally, this array is well designed in terms both of microstrip elements and feeding network, such that the wideband operation can be achieved. Such a frequency band is suitable for WLAN and WiMAX systems. Both of simulation and measurement results of this design are reported.
