Abstract :
The antennas of collocated Primary Surveillance Radar (PSR) and Secondary Surveillance Radar (SSR) are frequently situated separately with a common rotational axis, which create mechanical instability, weather and transportation difficulties. That can be mitigated by a new proposed integration of PSR and SSR array antennas at a common surface. A synthesis of a new phased active array of 3-D PSR, without compromise regarding the antenna parameters, with Taylor distribution for horizontal pattern, transmitted shaped fan beam and eight receiving beams is presented.
