Abstract :
This paper presents the design and fabrication of a printed antenna for UHF RFID applications. The proposed passive tag shows a gain of 1.5dBi in simulation even if the conductivity of the silver paste used is low. Over the UHF RFID frequency band, the reading range is up to 8m with a threshold chip power of -14dBm. The overall tag size is 180 mm × 30 mm × 0.135 mm.
