  • Abstract
    This paper presents a design performed for the digital terrestrial television network in Greece, and the authors analytically describe the design methodology followed for a successful service provision. The proposed DVB-T network is based on the system variant B3 and consists of 35 SFNs with a minimum of 8 multiplexes in each SFN. Despite the difficulties of the Greek terrain, the design proposed 191 stations providing digital TV services to an estimated 95.9% of the population, whereas with 84 more stations the estimation climbs to 97.3%.
