Abstract :
This paper shows a new approach to optimize a circular polarized radial line slot array based on the physical picture behind the working mechanism of the antenna. The optimization procedure converges to the optimum solution in a very limited number of steps allowing us to use a full-wave analysis of the entire antenna.
