Abstract :
Presented Optimal E design - Generate 4-D trajectories in-flight for RTA-compliant OPD operations. Presented a design to compute the feasible RTA window - Enable pilots to accept or reject the RTA provided by air traffic controllers. Work is on-going to further enhance the computational efficiency of Optimal E. Work is on-going to examine the statistical performance of RTA accuracy that is achievable without undue burden on avionics.
