Abstract
Over the past few years, Next Generation Networks (NGN) is perceived as a platform that will bring both application developers and mobile operators togather to develop applications with enhanced quality of experience. IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is considered to be one of the important features in Mobile Next Generation Networks (MNGN). In our work, we developed a novel IMS based MObile Mass EXamination (MOMEX) system. MOMEX is to be mounted on top of a testbed developed by our research group. In this paper, we introduce our state-of-the-art NGN testbed and our developed application. We then conduct delay analysis to estimate application performance limitations and tradeoffs.
