  • Abstract
Cognitive Radio (CR) is one of the principal technologies aiming to overcome the scarcity of the spectrum. Some cognitive radio scenarios enable the secondary users to coexist with spectrum owner (licensee) on the same frequency band. This paper studies the existence of secondary users on the same channel of a broadcast primary user system where the transmission of the primary user´s transmitter covers a transmission area that contains multiple primary users´ receivers. The work proposed here employs game theory to guarantee certain Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) for each primary user´s receiver while not requiring the primary user to force any price on the secondary users and thus no added complexity to the primary system.
