Abstract :
The authors present a method to evaluate the power quality during the design stage of the electricity supply solutions. Actually, the power quality analyzers or dedicated measurement systems are used to detect and to solve power quality problems but the paper covers a relative poor research field: that of anticipating power quality before the network was put into operation. The method is a combination of results from distribution network regime calculations and those offered by a continuous, first order Markov reliability model based on a generalized network node structure allowing a tridimensional amplitude - duration - frequency of voltage perturbations from short time dips to long time interruptions. The benefits are supporting decisions related to the supply technical solutions at the designing stage starting from supply node - load power quality compatibility.
