Abstract :
Based on the high resolution remote sensing data acquired in 2003 and 2010 of Jiangyin city, which is one of the cities developed at top speed of China, the land cover of this area was classified and analyzed in this paper. With the object-based and multi-scale classification method, the information of city land cover was extracted. Meanwhile, the change of quantity and spatial structures at the area of Jiangyin city was analyzed, which provided thoughts and bases for city development, environment protection, and the ecological construction of the Jiangyin.
