Abstract :
A 1-bit digitally programmable CMOS current conveyor is realized, studied and has been used to implement a simple novel ASK modulator for RFID applications. The realized modulator uses single 1-bit digitally programmable current conveyor along with just two grounded resistors and provides high input impedance as well as amplification to the modulated signal. The realized ASK modulator is designed and verified using PSPICE and the results thus obtained justify the theory.
