Abstract
In this paper, we present the effect of the bank of capacity linked to stator windings to stabilize the amplitude of produced voltage. The machine that we study is the Double Fed Induction Generator (DFIG). The association of this generator to the wind turbine give birth the Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS). Looking to the no stability of the wind and it variable speed, this condition makes very variable voltage amplitude. This result impresses a variable excitation system to stabilize voltage amplitude.
