Abstract
The existing formulations of the Interactive Goal Programming (IGP) model do not explicitly integrate the preferences of the Decision-Maker (DM). Moreover, these formulations require too much information from the DM. The aim of this paper is to present an IGP model based on the concept of Satisfaction Functions where the elucidation of the DM´s preferences will be performed through a learning process. At any time of the decision-making process, the DM can revise the parameters of the decision-making situation including the satisfaction functions. This framework allows the DM to evolve towards a solution of the best compromise.
