Abstract :
Cognitive ultra wideband based on pulse carrier covers extremely wide band, in order to avoid interference with the existing communications systems and adapt the requirements of multiuser communication, there are some high demands for the pulse design. In this paper, an adaptive pulse based on the finite prolate spheroidal wave functions is presented from the frequency domain, it uses the characteristics of prolate spheroidal wave function and can respond the real-time changes in the environment. Through analyzing the base function parity, system can generate a pair of orthogonal combination pulses in once weighting coefficients calculation. This pulse enhances the spectrum utilization efficiency under the FCC emission mask, reduces the system complexity and the interference between different users.
