Abstract :
To cope with all power quality issues to be aroused from voltage sag, rise, transient power interruption and other disturbances of power distribution system, this article addresses a device designed to control the quality of power supply from power distribution net. Like inductor and capacitor, this device can be series connected to introduce a controllable voltage that will compensate with voltage fluctuation due to loads. In addition, a compensation voltage with equal voltage components in opposite directions against harmonic can be introduced into network to eliminate harmonic from power distribution system.
