Abstract :
After studying a cryptographic algorithm with chaos proposed by us some years ago, and inspired by some combined chaotic cryptographic and hashing scheme, we proposed a novel authentication scheme. In this Letter, we generalize the chaotic message authentication code scheme so that it can perform authentication to produce the hash value for a given message. The collision resistance of the proposed approach is also analyzed.
