Abstract :
A design method for a constant pre-compensator in frequency domain of boiler steam temperature multivariable control system based on diagonal dominance and the method of linear matrix inequalities(LMI) is presented. Compared with previous methods, the algorithm presented de-emphasizes the importance of choosing a suitable frequency in designing process. This method is aimed at reducing the effects of interactions in multivariable control system. The results show that this approach can effectively reduce interactions and the order of the controller.
