Abstract :
For the shortcomings of current WebGIS decisionmaking systems development, such as complex resource data sharing, access control of complex user permissions, role customization, the architecture research and design is a key works in Web GIS development. In this paper, the portal technology and role-based access control is analyzed, and WebGIS architecture for forestry resources application is proposed based on Portal technology. In addition, a forestry resources application based on this architecture is also presented. The WebGIS architecture aims to enhance the information resources integration and access control security, and reduces administrative overhead and management complexity.
