Abstract
This paper presents and analyzes the possible contribution of Distributed Resources to the short-term security of supply in distribution grid. This study shows technical considerations in a sub-network of the Colombian Power System that has Small Hydro Power Plants, which are part of a Microgrids project in the distribution system of a Colombian region. We conducted a technical and economic analysis on the dynamic performance of the system in a Microgrid operation in slow behavior through testing.
