Abstract
This paper presents a CMOS instrumentation system for matrix-based magneto resistive biosensors. The system performs time division multiplexing, by the use of Iinearized switches to reduce the measurement harmonic distortion. The noise of the current source is further analyzed, which is commonly disregarded in magneto resistive sensor interfaces. The noise introduced by the Iinearization circuit is also investigated and simulation results are presented. The circuit was designed using AMS 0.35μm 3.3 V technology.
