Abstract :
In this paper, the analysis and design of current controller of a multiphase induction motor with open phase are proposed. The current controller is designed in the stationary reference frame where the multiphase machine is represented in two orthogonal subspaces called dq and xy. In fault conditions, the controller will be able to control the same dq reference current vector as normal operation and additional unbalanced xy reference current vector. To compensate this unbalancing, the current control scheme based on positive and negative-sequence controllers is used. A discussion and simulation of the strategies are presented.
