Abstract :
Possible solutions of hybrid power sources, based on different combinations of PV panels, wind turbines and/or diesel generators, are discussed in this paper. These configurations can be used to supply the electrical demand of a typical house in Lebanon during shortage periods. Simulations on the HOMER software are applied to find the optimal system by minimizing the Net Present Cost with a 25 years life time project.
