Abstract :
One of Wide Area Monitoring System (WAMS) Application is for monitoring the voltage stability of the power system. WAMS utilizes Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU) as the real time measurement devices. Using PMU data, the voltage stability performance can be monitored online so that the dynamic voltage stability assessment can be applied. In this work, Synchronized Based Real Time Voltage Stability Index and PQ Voltage stability index are used as indicators to show the severity level pertinent to voltage stability.
