Abstract :
This article describes rapid prototyping stages of position and/or velocity control algorithms implementation in feed drive module of numerically controlled milling machines. Paper presents an original approach to issue of possible assurance of correcting algorithms implementation at controlling module level of digital servodrives in opposition to solutions commonly available on market. Proposed here feedforward solution provides robustness to velocity control of the machine tool feed drive. Presented results are good basis for future development within the prototype of 3-axis ball-screw driven milling machine.
