Abstract
As one of the important parameters of the fermentation process, temperature has obvious characteristics such as time varying, time delay and highly nonlinear, and susceptible to interference and so on. To solve this problem, in this paper, a single neuron PID controller is designed according to the temperature control mechanism of micro-fermentation without the mathematical model. The method is used in practical temperature control of the micro-fermentation tank in Northeastern University fermentation laboratory. The effectiveness of the method is proved after the comparing experiments with the traditional PID method and the interference experiments. Therefore it has good application prospects.
