Abstract
This paper focuses on deriving the stability conditions of interval type-2 fuzzy-model-based (FMB) control system formed by the interval type-2 T-S fuzzy model and the interval type-2 T-S fuzzy controller connected in a closed loop. To reduce the conservativeness of stability analysis, a fuzzy Lyapunov function, considering the property of membership functions, is adopted. The stability conditions in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) are obtained. A numerical example shows the effectiveness of the proposed conditions.
