Abstract :
As command optimization for missile roll autopilot has long been neglected by missile control engineers, this paper introduces two roll command optimization methods for missile 180° rotation. First, problems in roll autopilot design are stated and the importance of command optimization is illustrated. Second, linear and exponent command optimization methods are established with the quickly and efficient method of optimization time constant provided at the same time. Then compared with each other, the advantages and disadvantages are listed for the two optimization methods. At last, the conclusion about how to choose optimization method is deduced.
