Abstract :
This paper gives a review of the main characteristics and parameters needed for modeling a photovoltaic module and finding maximum power point by using Perturb & Observe algorithm. The created model has been developed based on previous studies of photovoltaic cell represented in a Matlab/Simulink model. MPP and curves I-V and P-V have been calculated comparing the results to each other. In the end, the model has been validated with experimental data of a commercial PV module Shell Ultra85P PV.
