Abstract :
In national power network there are still many IO-type oil-based high-voltage circuit breakers, which are acted by oleo-pneumatic mechanisms (MOP). Changing them with new ones is not an easy task, due to their huge number in the power networks and the implementing costs. From all breaker components, MOP presents the highest fault rate. In this paper, modeling aspects of MOP-type drive mechanisms are studied for their monitoring and predictive diagnosis. A monitoring system is proposed along with a MOP simulator for different faulty states. Also, simulation results are presented.
