Abstract :
This paper presents the design, fabrication and measurement of a folded compensated balun designed to operate from 0.5 to 3.0 GHz. It has been implemented using broadside coupled transmission lines and fabricated with laminate substrates. The assembled design is 16.8 mm × 7.2 mm. The common mode rejection measured over the band was 23.2 dB and met the required specifications.
