Abstract :
The aim of this paper is to present a d-q accurate mathematical model of the double star induction machine (DSIM), whatever the electrical shift between the two stator stars. The proposed model takes into account the effect of magnetic saturation, the stator mutual leakage inductance between two stars and the skin effect. The confrontation between the simulation results of the proposed model with experimental results gave a good correspondence especially at startup.
