  • Abstract
    In this paper, a modified demodulation scheme for Open Loop Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) sensorless control based on the Alternating Voltage Injection (AVI) technique is considered. The modified demodulation method does not require an extra hardware or huge memory space for real time implementation. IPMSM is modeled at high frequencies, and a rotor position estimation algorithm is proposed. Comprehensive simulation results using MATLAB/Simulink® are presented under different speed and load conditions.
