Abstract :
DC magnetic systems are a key element of many electromagnetic devices. In a number of cases, the magnetic systems of such devices must meet requirements of complying with the proportionality principle. A method of optimizing the linear dimensions and parameters of a system with a special geometrical configuration is developed taking this principle into account. The dimensionless coefficient of the proportionality principle serves as an optimization criterion. The developed calculation method can also be applied for optimization the dimensions of AC magnetic systems.
