Abstract :
This article shows the obtained results in a system level static simulation. This simulation allowed to analyze the outage probability by interference and the effect of different interference coordination mechanisms in a heterogeneous network, which is characterized mainly by the interaction of a macro base station and femtocells in an urban micro cellular environment. This paper shows how different interference coordination mechanisms improve network performance, substantially mitigating interference co-channel and increasing the signal to interference ratio (SIR) perceived by the user.
