Abstract :
In this paper I want to show experimentally as is possible to create a multicarrier system from a single source, emulating an 8-channel WDM system. This was used for BLS (Broadband Light Source), in this case an FPL (Fabry Perot laser). then using techniques SS (Spectrum Slicing), is achieved only filter out of the source 8 channels were independently modulates amplitude at a transmission rate of 1 Gbps. to determine the signal to noise ratio (SNR) provided by the eye diagrams of each of the channels for this two methods were used, one statistical and the other showing the oscilloscope used.
