Abstract :
In this paper, the parameter estimation problem of the dual-rate system with delay sampled output is investigated. The discretization technique is used to derive the slow-rate model for the dual rate system of which the state contains the time delay. The parameters and states of the system are simultaneously estimated by using the recursive least squares algorithm and the Kalman filter. When concerning state estimate of the dual rate system with time delay, the state augmentation method is employed with lower computational load than that of the conventional one. A numerical example is given to illustrate the proposed algorithm.
