Abstract :
The nonstandard finite difference time domain (FDTD) algorithm gives high accuracy solutions on a coarse grid to the homogeneous wave equation and the source-free Maxwell´s equations. We now extend the NSFD methodology to include sources both for the scattered field and for free space sources. We demonstrate the high accuracy of this approach by comparing with analytical solutions.
