Introduction

We have the pleasure to invite you to attend the 9th International Conference on Digital Technologies the one of the information technologies meeting in Slovakia. This Conference became a traditional and well-known one. The theme of the conference reflects the vital role of information not only in telecommunication, electrical engineering and information technology but also in many evolving areas of basic and applied research. More than 50 papers from 10 countries were obtained. More than 35 papers were selected on the basis of a review. Each paper has been reviewed more than two reviewers. The approved papers are organized into 4 plenary presentation and 7 working sections. In the plenary session, distinguished plenary speakers give a review of the future perspectives in their research areas: information technologies, telecommunication and its reliability and medical applications.
