  • Abstract
    Cloud computing, the next generation computing system, is gradually being got more and more attention on its green energy-saving characteristics in academia. This paper first reviews cloud computing concept and platform structure. Second, strategies of green energy saving for cloud computing platform are proposed from four aspects: hardware design, software technology, virtual machine manager and network environment. Then, based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, the method and model of green cloud computing platform evaluation are put forward including green characteristic indexes and ability characteristic indexes. Final, an instance is calculated to verify the methods and model.
