Abstract
Multilevel DC/AC inverters have various structures and many advantages. Unfortunately, most existing inverters are unable to produce good output AC waveforms since their total harmonic distortion is not very low, because each level switching angle is not carefully arranged. In order to gain good power quality, we have to carefully investigate the switching angle arrangement to obtain the lowest total harmonic distortion.
