  • Abstract
    Inter-channel amplitude and phase error estimation and calibration of phased array radar is an important problem in practice. A new method to estimate and calibrate amplitude and phase errors of phased array radar in jamming environment is presented. The method can obtain real-time amplitude and phase errors between two consecutive weight update periods based on the accurate estimation of steering vector which, in turn, is used to give calibration and even second calibration. The validity of the method is performed by computer simulation on 4-element Y shaped phased array, and results show the real-time and robust performance of our method.
