  • Abstract
    Atmospheric CO2 could potentially change ventilator rate leading to respiratory acidosis, and then daily life exposure can increase the intake rate of other air pollutants, therefore it´s exposure dose. Subsequently CO2 may play an important role in regulating the toxicological effects of other air pollutants. In order to understand the possible effects of this pollutant on mammal´s ventilatory rate, before designing experiments with living organisms, this study was carried out using a mathematical model that reproduces the main features of a chemosensitive neuron.
