Abstract :
Atudy the behavior of cardiac rate variability in healthy volunteers. Twelve volunteers were studied with active lifestyles and mean age 19 ± 2,85 years. The volunteers underwent regular physical exercise, aerobic predominantly. The heart rate data were collected from students through a cardio-frequency meter (Polar S810) at rest, supine and sitting, and during exercise in the trial of six-minute walk test. Heart rate variability was analyzed in time domain and frequency. For statistical analysis we used the Friedman test, Dunn and Mann-Whitney test. It was observed that the RMSSD decreases the condition of rest, supine and sitting for the exercise (p<;0,05). There was a decrease in high frequency band and an increase in low frequency band with exercise (p<;0,05). These results suggest a decreased parasympathetic activity acting on the sinoatrial node and physical exercise also allows us to infer the functional capacity and cardiovascular status of students studied.
