            Abstract : 
The design of a rotomoulding mold for manufacturing a plastic prototype prosthesis for upper limb amputation transhumeral using a Computer Aided Design (CAD) was proposed. From this, the molds are designed with the particular characteristics required by the technique. The paper presents a mold cavity to produce parts in medium density polyethylene, rotomoulding grade Venelene 8305, offering a low cost solution for low and medium production scale.
