Abstract :
In this paper, we propose an efficient algorithm for automatically generating a single line and continuous line illustration given an input image. The proposed method employs concentric circles to synthesize the algorithmic continuous line illustration. A series of pre-processing and postprocessing operations were applied to reflect the color intensity of the input image. Experimental results show that the proposed method can automatically draw continuous line artworks comparable to those of traditional artists.
