Abstract :
A design of CW 1W 0.14THz folded waveguide TWT is investigated. The electron beam tube is manufactured, and beam transmission of 82% for a 14.8mA beam at 21.5kV. The RF coupling system and attenuator are manufactured and tested. The test results showed good performance that can meet the practical requirements in folded waveguide TWT. The first prototype has been built. Latest test results will be provided if available.
