Abstract :
An X-band to Ka-band klystron frequency multiplier was developed that can triple input frequency and amplify input power simultaneously. It had X-band components except a Ka-band output section. The experimental results showed that the peak output power of 14 kW can be reached at beam voltage of 36kV.
