Abstract :
A periodic cusped magnetic (PCM) focusing WBand sheet beam electron optics system is designed. The beam voltage and current are 75 kV and 3.8 A, respectively. The guns with different focusing electrode potentials are simulated and its influences on the electron beam transmission are presented. The PCM focusing structure is modified to match the focusing magnetic field and the injected beam state at the initial phase. The simulation results show the electron beam transmission attains to 100% over the distance of 89mm.
