Abstract :
A novel taper ridge-vane loaded folded waveguide (FWG) slow wave structure (SWS) for 140 GHz traveling wave tube (TWT) has been presented in this paper. The electromagnetic characteristics and beam-wave interaction of this kind of structure are calculated. It is shown from our calculation results that the new kind of circuit is a promising SWS for developing a wide band high-power millimeter wave, even Terahetrz radiation source.
