Abstract :
In this paper, a 5MHz all-digital on-chip silicon oscillator is presented. The proposed on-chip oscillator uses a voltage and temperature classifier with the proposed linear calculator to compensate for voltage and temperature variations at chip run time. The maximum frequency errors with temperature and voltage variations are 0.21% and 0.97%, respectively. A systematic way to choose the standard cells for building the proposed design is also discussed in this paper.
